Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Human Services Specialist I/II to join our team at Oklahoma Human Services. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support services to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, ensuring they receive the care and assistance they need to thrive in their communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case Management: Under the direction of a supervisor, you will provide case management services to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, including obtaining in-depth social histories, developing and implementing community and/or agency resources to meet their needs, and serving as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) to provide monthly monitoring of the program.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Federal Home and Community Based Waiver regulations, state, and policy guidelines, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of quality and care.
Requirements
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in a human services field, such as social work, case management, special education, psychology, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, program coordination, nursing, or a closely related field.
  • Experience: One year of general experience working directly with individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities, or one year of professional experience in a related field, such as social work, case management, special education, or nursing.
