As a Contract Analyst II, your role will involve the development, negotiation, and execution of service agreements in accordance with procurement standards, while evaluating the financial implications of these services. This position is crucial in negotiating contract terms and modifications, ensuring seamless collaboration among various departments. Serving as the bridge between the organization and subcontractors, you will oversee contract compliance. Additionally, you will manage the renewal of agreements in alignment with supplier policies, review existing contracts for internal cooperation, and support the organization by drafting agreements, performing risk assessments, and addressing contract stipulations. A significant aspect of your role will include assessing contractor risks based on project scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with departments to formulate a contract strategy, comprehend customer expectations, identify suitable suppliers, lead contract negotiations and renewals, and act as the liaison between internal and external stakeholders throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Conduct risk assessments based on the scope of work, including evaluating risks associated with current contracts and potential contract modifications, as well as change orders.
  • Ensure comprehensive scopes of work are established for all agreements.
  • Develop and measure cost savings while assisting clients in achieving their objectives related to cost control, quality, and timelines.
  • Resolve any contract disputes and coordinate actions with internal procurement and legal teams as necessary.
  • Maintain essential data within the company ERP system and participate in testing system upgrades.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Pipeline Operations, Business Operations, Engineering, or Project Management.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, and five (5) years of relevant experience.
Additional Requirements:
  • Knowledge of contract law, terms, and conditions.
  • Exhibit exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills, prioritizing safety.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Oracle ERP systems.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Preferred: Analytical skills related to developing and utilizing performance metrics and cost savings.
