Role Summary
The HR Generalist will be instrumental in managing human resources functions, policies, and procedures, while also gathering and maintaining HR data related to compensation, benefits, training, and recruitment through a third-party HR and payroll system. This role will involve close collaboration with internal leadership teams and external experts to ensure compliance with relevant guidelines, acting as a supportive business partner across all departments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with third-party platform representatives to draft and implement new HR policies, providing feedback to the leadership team.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely completion of new hire documentation, including:
  • Conducting new hire orientations
  • Coordinating safety training with external providers
  • Managing I-9 and E-Verify processes
  • Administering all internal forms
  • Scheduling and overseeing drug tests
  • Handling background checks and MVRs, including:
  • Requesting necessary information
  • Final review of submitted data
  • Maintaining personnel records and headcount tracking
  • Coordinating with IT to establish email accounts for new employees
  • Updating directories, accounts, and groups as required
  • Managing new enrollments
  • Leading recruitment initiatives for open positions
  • Posting job listings, reviewing applications, and pre-screening candidates
  • Working with hiring managers to schedule interviews and achieve hiring goals
  • Preparing and sending offer letters to selected candidates
  • Performing additional administrative and office tasks as necessary.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in HR, with a solid understanding of HR fundamentals and best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or a related field is required.
  • Experience in the oil and gas sector is preferred.
  • Self-driven with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and proficiency with technology.
  • Ability to foster positive working relationships with all employees.
  • Demonstrated responsibility and integrity in previous roles.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Capability to conduct research as needed.
