Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team, responsible for sourcing, identifying, screening, and hiring candidates for various positions within the organization. The successful candidate will possess strong communication and organizational abilities, a minimum of one year of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, proficiency with applicant tracking systems, and the capability to develop effective sourcing strategies for prospective candidates. This role necessitates excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist and hiring managers to oversee the requisition process while fostering strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers to meet recruitment needs.
- Design and implement innovative recruitment strategies.
- Establish talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
- Manage the entire recruitment process, including the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Build relationships with targeted colleges and universities to attract top-tier candidates, including interns and full-time hires.
- Support the recruitment process for both field and corporate positions to ensure timely hiring of qualified personnel.
- Oversee new hire onboarding and orientation processes for all employees to ensure a smooth and effective transition.
- Act as a liaison with employment and temporary staffing agencies to ensure timely fulfillment of corporate vacancies.
- Administer various recruitment-related programs, such as relocation assistance, applicant assessments, background checks, and applicant tracking, to ensure operational efficiency.
- Assist in developing and monitoring the corporate human resources recruitment budget to ensure appropriate allocation of funds.
- Create compelling job advertisements for career pages, job boards, and social media platforms.
- Track and communicate recruitment metrics to hiring managers.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration/Management, or a related field is required.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of common concepts, practices, and procedures in human resources.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
- Exceptional consultative and communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new software applications.
- Capability to source and recruit candidates across various business units and skill sets.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage resources effectively.
- Sound decision-making skills with experience balancing consensus and authority as necessary.
- Team-oriented individual who can thrive in a matrix management environment.
- Ability to advise hiring managers on market trends and best practices in recruitment.
