Position Summary:
We are in search of a skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to assist in sourcing, identifying, screening, and recruiting candidates for diverse roles within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational abilities, a minimum of one year of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, proficiency with applicant tracking systems, and a talent for developing effective sourcing strategies. This role necessitates excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist and hiring managers to oversee the requisition process while fostering strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers to fulfill recruitment needs.
- Innovate and implement effective recruiting strategies.
- Establish talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
- Manage the entire recruitment process, including the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Build relationships with targeted colleges and universities to attract top-tier candidates for internships and full-time positions.
- Support recruitment efforts in both field and corporate settings to ensure timely hiring of qualified personnel.
- Oversee the onboarding and orientation processes for new hires in both field and corporate roles to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Act as a liaison with employment and temporary staffing agencies to ensure timely fulfillment of corporate vacancies.
- Administer various recruitment-related company programs, including relocation, applicant assessments, background checks, and applicant tracking, to ensure operational efficiency.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of the corporate human resources recruitment budget to ensure appropriate allocation of funds.
- Create compelling job advertisements for career pages, job boards, and social media platforms.
- Maintain and communicate recruitment metrics to hiring managers.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration/Management, or a related field is required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of human resources concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
- Exceptional consultative and communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to effectively engage with all levels of stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new software applications.
- Capable of sourcing and recruiting candidates across various business units and skill sets.
- Ability to manage and prioritize resources and projects effectively.
- Sound decision-making skills with the ability to balance consensus and authority appropriately.
- A collaborative team player who can thrive in a matrix management environment.
- Ability to advise hiring managers on market trends and best practices in recruitment.
- Capacity to work in a high-volume environment and respond promptly and effectively under pressure.
