Role Summary

The HR Generalist will be instrumental in executing human resources functions, policies, and procedures, while managing and analyzing HR data concerning compensation, benefits, training, and recruitment through a third-party HR and payroll system. This role requires close collaboration with internal leadership across various offices and external experts to ensure compliance with applicable guidelines, acting as a supportive business partner for all departments.


Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with third-party platform representatives to draft and implement new HR policies, providing improvement recommendations to leadership.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely completion of new hire documentation, including:
    • Conducting new hire orientation
    • Coordinating safety training with external providers
    • Managing I-9 and E-Verify processes
    • Handling all internal documentation
    • Scheduling and administering drug tests
    • Administering background checks and MVRs, including:
      • Requesting necessary information
      • Final review of submitted documents
    • Maintaining the personnel and headcount tracker along with the employee directory.
    • Collaborate with IT to establish email accounts for new hires.
    • Update directories, accounts, and groups as required.
    • Manage new enrollments.
    • Lead hiring initiatives for open positions.
    • Post job listings, review applications, and pre-screen candidates.
    • Coordinate with hiring managers to schedule interviews and achieve hiring objectives.
    • Prepare and distribute offer letters to selected candidates.
    • Perform additional administrative and office tasks as necessary.

    Qualifications
    • 1-3 years of experience in HR, with a solid understanding of HR fundamentals and best practices.
    • Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or a related field is required.
    • Experience in the oil and gas sector is preferred.
    • Self-driven with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a comfort level in using technology.
    • Ability to foster positive working relationships with all employees.
    • Proven track record of responsibility and integrity in previous roles.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt.
    • Capability to conduct research as necessary.
