Position Overview

Wells Enterprises is on the lookout for a dedicated Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in nurturing and expanding relationships with retail partners within a designated area, focusing on enhancing customer satisfaction and driving sales growth. The position includes a company vehicle and comprehensive benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the brand representative and primary contact for customers, delivering exceptional service, sharing knowledge about Wells products, addressing inquiries, and fostering positive relationships with store staff.
  • Ensure optimal product placement by maintaining full distribution of existing stock-keeping units (SKUs) and facilitating the introduction of new products according to approved layouts. Perform daily merchandising duties such as managing out-of-stock items, adjusting inventory levels, organizing products, tagging, rotating stock, constructing displays, placing promotional materials, and assisting with resets.
  • Drive additional sales by securing product displays and promoting upcoming offers.
  • Efficiently organize time and prioritize store visits within the assigned territory, ensuring adherence to the established schedule for store calls.
  • Accurately complete database entries, reporting, summaries, expense documentation, store evaluations, and other requested information in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience is required.
  • 1-3 years of sales experience is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license. Daytime travel is expected, approximately 25%, with potential for occasional overnight stays.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Outstanding customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills are required; this role involves daily interactions with customers at various levels.
  • Proven time management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Commitment to meeting or exceeding customer expectations is crucial.
  • Exhibit sound judgment and respect for others.
  • Ability to work independently while also demonstrating effective team collaboration skills.
  • Basic proficiency in email communication and internet navigation is necessary.
