Overview:
The Safety Operations Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the Security Department's daily functions, ensuring a welcoming, efficient, and secure environment for all guests and staff, while safeguarding the physical assets of the resort.

Responsibilities:
• Inspire, mentor, and guide all Security team members in accordance with the resort's standard operating procedures.
• Analyze daily Activity Reports from all security shifts.
• Scrutinize incident reports for clarity and precision.
• Effectively communicate critical information during emergencies to the appropriate management personnel.
• Collaborate with external agencies to fulfill communication requirements.
• Assist in supervising and reviewing investigative processes.
• Develop and implement emergency protocols for various scenarios including fires, natural disasters, and evacuations.
• Actively participate in the Safety Committee.
• Monitor and manage Lost and Found procedures.
• Conduct regular property patrols to maintain visibility and address safety concerns.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and resort policies.
• Facilitate training for all staff on safety and health procedures.
• Maintain the Emergency Response Kit.
• Support Human Resources with quarterly audits of staff areas.
• Aid in the recruitment process for Security personnel, adhering to established procedures.
• Foster a positive work environment and promote ongoing training for Security staff.
• Review and submit Security staff hours for payroll processing.
• Assist in creating employee schedules based on business forecasts and budget guidelines.
• Uphold the resort's policies regarding financial transactions and inventory management.
• Cultivate professional relationships and maintain open communication with all departments.
• Ensure adherence to all resort policies and operational standards.
• Confirm that all Service Standards are acknowledged by Security personnel.
• Maintain communication devices and ensure proper radio etiquette is followed.
• Establish and oversee key control systems.
• Keep an adequate supply of Security office materials.
• Conduct inspections of bags and packages as necessary.
• Perform daily audits of keys and address any discrepancies.
• Assist guests with requests while ensuring their privacy and security.
• Review daily Security logs and Guest Request logs.
• Maintain an organized filing system for all documentation related to security operations.
• Monitor the use of employee entrances.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in hospitality or a related field.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in computer applications including MS Office Suite and relevant software.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Physical Requirements:
• Extended hours may be necessary.
• Heavy lifting may be required, with the ability to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Must be capable of navigating stairs and responding physically to security threats.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
• Attend all mandatory meetings and training sessions.

• Be proactive in identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Salary Range:
$60,000 - $65,000/year
