Position Overview
The Marketing Technology Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing the effectiveness of the Firm's marketing technology tools. This position aims to boost the efficiency of marketing, business development, and practice management initiatives. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in marketing, technology (including AI), analytics, training, and project management to support the Firm's strategic objectives. This role will involve close collaboration with the Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer on various strategic projects and will be an integral part of the Marketing, Business Development, and Practice Management Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance on industry tools and best practices while overseeing the training and implementation of marketing systems.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to assess and recommend innovative technological solutions that enhance the Firm's marketing capabilities and business development objectives.
  • Manage and optimize marketing platforms, including the Firm's website, email marketing system, CRM, experience database, proposal generator, and data analytics. Responsibilities include:
    • Identifying and resolving issues while proposing innovative ideas for leveraging technology to meet business goals.
    • Collaborating with the Senior Client Relationship Analyst to ensure the integrity of CRM data.
    • Working with the RFP & Pitch Manager to maintain and optimize the experience database and proposal generator.
    • Analyzing and reporting on the ROI of marketing and business development efforts.
  • Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives under the direction of the Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to enhance the understanding of the client journey, influencing strategic decisions and supporting the Firm's client experience program.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Communications and Business Development Managers to develop strategies that elevate the Firm's profile.
  • Lead the Department's engagement with AI tools, such as large language models, under the guidance of the Marketing Director.
  • Set up and analyze email marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for targeted leads and growth opportunities.
  • Educate and train attorneys and business professionals on both new and existing marketing technology platforms.
  • Serve as a liaison between departments on marketing-related programs and platforms, collaborating closely with the IT Department.
  • Provide business development support to industry teams and practice groups as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with attorneys to ensure departmental objectives are met and to enhance service delivery.
  • Adhere to all Firm policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of five years of experience in marketing, business development, technology, or project management, along with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot.
  • Experience with CRM systems, Google Analytics, and email marketing platforms is preferred.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and train diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to effective teamwork.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
