We are seeking a seasoned strategist to join our team on a contract basis for a duration of three months. As a Strategic Marketing Consultant, you will develop comprehensive strategies and marketing plans that leverage our diverse service offerings to assist client partners in reaching their goals. Your responsibilities will include conducting research and analysis, crafting impactful strategies, outlining integrated campaign plans, and delivering persuasive presentations to client partners. You will work closely with our Client Experience, Project Management, and various subject matter teams (e.g., Media, Creative) to provide expert insights that facilitate effective execution and help us achieve our project objectives. Additionally, this role may contribute to the agency's growth by supporting business development efforts and will report directly to the Director of Strategy.
Key ResponsibilitiesResearch Analysis and Strategy Development- Conduct thorough research and discovery, including competitor analysis, focus groups (when necessary), quantitative market studies, and surveys.
- Analyze quantitative data and create visual representations that effectively communicate insights.
- Perform market and situational analyses to establish goals, derive insights, and formulate customized marketing strategies that cater to the unique needs of client partners.
- Collaborate with in-house subject matter experts in media, SEO, creative, analytics, CRM, and web to produce strategy briefs, reports, and other deliverables.
- Occasionally present marketing strategy briefs and other key deliverables to client partners.
- Provide expert consultation to client partners, demonstrating an understanding of their needs and illustrating how challenges can be addressed through your strategic guidance.
- Engage cross-functionally with internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Client Experience and Project Management teams in preparation for significant client meetings, presentations, renewals, and partnership discussions.
- Work alongside other subject matter experts (e.g., media, creative, analytics, CRM) to develop cohesive campaign plans.
- Lead and facilitate creative project kickoff meetings, participate in brainstorming sessions, and review and provide feedback on creative campaign materials.
- Draft strategic media and creative briefs to guide internal teams in campaign development.
- Provide research insights as a subject matter expert for VisionPoint's business proposals.
- Occasionally draft case studies that highlight the impact of VisionPoint's initiatives.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in marketing, strategy, and analysis.
- Proficient in analyzing large volumes of research and information, identifying pertinent insights, and translating complex ideas into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
- A proactive, thoughtful problem solver capable of navigating ambiguity and thinking critically.
