Role Overview

The Respite Team Leader will coordinate and implement engaging activities tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients. This position entails managing daily operations and providing leadership across two respite centres.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure the provision of high-quality, reliable services to clients and their families.
  2. Design and facilitate meaningful activities that resonate with the interests and abilities of participants.
  3. Lead and motivate a skilled respite care team, promoting collaboration and innovative problem-solving.
  4. Provide mentorship, coaching, and supervision to team members.
  5. Oversee staffing processes, including onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
  6. Engage in team discussions to implement improvements and enhance service delivery.
  7. Work closely with management to proactively address incidents and feedback, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  8. Encourage a positive team environment focused on success and professional growth.
  9. Monitor client engagement and satisfaction, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  10. Promote respite services within the community to identify growth opportunities.
Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years' experience in a similar role within a large service organization. Familiarity with Procura software is advantageous.

Essential Requirements:
  • Compliance with criminal history checks as mandated by the Aged Care Act 1997.
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
  • Willingness to obtain annual influenza and COVID vaccinations as per federal regulations.
