Role Overview:

As a Respite Team Leader, you will coordinate and plan engaging activities tailored to meet the individual needs and capabilities of our clients. You will oversee the daily operations and leadership of the respite centers, which are located in different areas. A flexible working arrangement is available.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure the delivery of high-quality services to all clients and caregivers at the Respite Centers.
  2. Design and implement meaningful activities that resonate with the preferences of attendees.
  3. Foster a motivated and skilled respite care team, promoting collaborative problem-solving.
  4. Provide guidance, mentorship, and supervision to the respite care team.
  5. Manage staffing responsibilities, including onboarding, training, performance assessments, and leave management.
  6. Engage in team meetings to drive improvements and implement necessary changes.
  7. Work closely with the Manager of Care Coordination to proactively manage incidents and feedback, committing to continuous enhancement.
  8. Encourage a positive team culture and a drive for success.
  9. Support the team in developing effective problem-solving skills.
  10. Monitor client engagement and satisfaction, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  11. Promote Respite Center services within the community to identify growth opportunities.
Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years' experience in a similar role within a large and complex service delivery organization. Familiarity with Procura is advantageous.

Requirements:
  • Compliance with criminal history checks as mandated by the Aged Care Act 1997, including a satisfactory National Police Clearance.
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
  • Consent to receive annual influenza and COVID vaccinations in accordance with federal regulations.
