Role OverviewIn this position, you will coordinate and plan engaging activities tailored to meet the unique needs and abilities of our clients. You will oversee the daily operations and leadership of our respite centres, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver reliable, high-quality services to all clients and caregivers in the respite centres.
- Create meaningful and engaging activities that cater to the preferences of attendees.
- Maintain a motivated and skilled respite care team, promoting collaborative problem-solving.
- Provide mentoring, coaching, and supervision to the respite care team.
- Manage staffing responsibilities, including onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
- Participate in team meetings to implement improvements and changes.
- Work closely with the Manager of Care Coordination to ensure proactive incident management and continuous improvement.
- Foster a positive team culture and drive success.
- Support the team in developing effective problem-solving skills.
- Monitor client engagement and satisfaction, promoting excellent customer service.
- Market respite centre services within the community to identify growth opportunities.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role within a large, complex service delivery organization. Familiarity with Procura is advantageous.
Requirements:- Compliance with criminal history checks as per the Aged Care Act 1997, including a satisfactory National Police Clearance.
- Valid working rights in Australia.
- Consent to receive annual influenza and COVID vaccinations as per Federal legislation.
