Role Overview:

As the Coordinator, you will oversee and design activities that are engaging and meaningful, tailored to meet the unique needs and capabilities of our clients. You will manage the daily operations and leadership of the respite centers, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Guaranteeing the provision of reliable, high-quality services to all clients and caregivers within the Respite Centers.
  2. Creating engaging activities that cater to the preferences and needs of attendees.
  3. Leading a motivated and skilled respite care team, promoting collaborative working and effective problem-solving.
  4. Providing mentorship, coaching, and supervision to the respite care team.
  5. Managing staffing responsibilities, including onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and leave planning.
  6. Participating in team meetings to implement improvements and changes.
  7. Working closely with the Manager of Care Coordination to ensure proactive incident management and a commitment to continuous enhancement.
  8. Fostering a positive team culture and striving for success.
  9. Supporting the team in developing effective problem-solving abilities.
  10. Monitoring client engagement and satisfaction, promoting excellent customer service.
  11. Actively marketing Respite Center services within the community to identify growth opportunities.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role within a large and complex service delivery organization. Familiarity with Procura is highly desirable.

Requirements:

  • Compliance with criminal history checks as mandated by the Aged Care Act 1997, including a satisfactory National Police Clearance.
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
  • Consent to receive annual influenza and COVID vaccinations in accordance with Federal regulations.
