Physician Assistant- Health Care for the Homeless Program
2 months ago
Job Summary: the Physician Assistant provides expanded care to patients by exercising independent judgment related to patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and counseling.
The Physician Assistance position for our Health Care for the Homeless Program is ideal for individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of patients experiencing homelessness and the community; who have a Trauma Informed Care approach to patient and colleague interactions; and who love to be part of a Team of mission driven colleagues but also thrive when working independently in an Outreach or Medical Respite setting.
As the Health Care for the Homeless position serves largely an adult population, opportunities for pediatric and family practice care will be provided through time at a Community Health Center to ensure the provider retains those skills (as appropriate based on specialization).
