National Sales Director for Ophthalmology

Sagent Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly experienced sales leader to develop and manage an Ophthalmology team, driving national sales growth and establishing the company as a prime player in the ophthalmology space.

About the Role:

  • Lead national sales and national accounts, including Puerto Rico, to achieve assigned marketplace sales goals.
  • Establish and manage an Ophthalmology team to create and implement sales programs, national account contracts, and compensation plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve assigned revenue and profitability goals through successful implementation of sales and contracting programs.
  • Oversee and manage the internal ophthalmology support team.
  • Identify critical molecules needed to drive success of the Ophthalmic program.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of sales management experience in pharmaceuticals or comparable industries.
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing ophthalmology sales teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher required; MBA preferred.
