Sunrise Senior Living is a leading provider of senior care services, with over 30 years of experience championing quality of life for all seniors. We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Marketing Professional to join our team as a Community Support Specialist.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Sales and Marketing team in achieving the community's occupancy and revenue goals. This includes assisting in managing the community's sales and marketing database (CRM), maintaining appropriate sales collateral, and coordinating resident move-in administrative tasks. Additionally, the Community Support Specialist may work under the supervision of the Director of Sales or Sales Specialist to advance leads through the sales process.

About the Role
  • Assist the Sales and Marketing team in maintaining a thorough working proficiency in the CRM lead tracking system.
  • Support the Sales and Marketing team by effectively maintaining all current prospect records in the CRM lead tracking system.
  • Work closely with the Executive Director, Director of Sales, and Sales Specialist to build trusting relationships with prospects by understanding the Sunrise product and how it meets customer needs.
  • Ensure model suites/apartments are well maintained and presentable.
  • Support the Sales team in setting, tracking, and accomplishing sales goals in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate effective telephone skills producing qualified leads and appointments.
  • Prepare resident administrative files according to Sunrise and state regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the move-in process as outlined in the Resident Move-In Checklist.
  • Meet with residents and families on move-in day to review the Move-In Packet.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the Resident Assessment with the Resident Care Director and Assisted Living Coordinator/Reminiscence Coordinator.
  • Ensure completion of required forms before move-in date.
  • Schedule the Resident Agreement Signing on Move-In day.
  • Orientate residents and family members to the community and explain emergency procedures.
  • Communicate with residents' physicians and/or families regarding necessary paperwork.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • One year of experience in sales support and/or two years of experience as a Sunrise Team Member.
  • Previous customer service or sales experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Possess excellent phone, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Facilitate small group presentations.
  • Competent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office, and Sunrise applications.
