Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation: Identify and cultivate relationships with potential referral sources, including physicians, hospitals, insurance providers, psychiatric providers, interventionists, and community organizations.
  • Referral Management: Strengthen relationships with existing referral sources, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
  • Outreach and Networking: Attend conferences, networking events, and community outreach programs to expand the facility's network.
  • Partnership Development: Develop strategic partnerships to increase patient referrals and enhance Compassion Behavioral Health's reputation in the community.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with clinical, admissions, and marketing teams to align business development efforts with organizational goals.
  • Reporting: Track and report on key performance metrics such as leads, referrals, admissions, and revenue growth.
  • Presentation: Deliver presentations to referral sources, showcasing the benefits of our treatment programs and services.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a business development representative in a treatment center.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Existing book of business with treatment centers, hospitals, psychiatric providers, interventionists, corporations, federal agencies, and/or unions.
  • Ability to proactively identify and pursue new customer opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Experience working with the Director of Business Development to develop and implement action plans for local market initiatives and census/financial objectives.
  • Proficiency in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
