Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT professional to join our team as a Strategic Principal IT Consultant. As a key member of our Client CIO team, you will work closely with our Account Managers to provide strategic IT consulting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strategic technical plans for clients, including architecting technology environments from the ground up.
  • Maintain deep relationships with clients, executives, and POCs within the client base.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure team awareness and participation in all strategic client planning and follow-up activities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, identifying opportunities for growth and areas of improvement while suggesting technical solutions that meet their business needs.
  • Write project plans, assist with project management, and participate in on-boarding activities.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations, including NIST, HIPAA, PCI, ITIL, and Mass 201 CMR 17.
  • Set an example of leadership and advocacy for NENS standards.
  • Provide engineering mentorship and training initiatives as requested by the VP, Service Delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience.
  • 7-10+ years' experience in a strategic IT consulting role.
  • 5+ years' interactive customer support/service experience.
  • Experience in the Life Sciences industry is a plus.
  • Strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable transportation and permanent work authorization in the US.
Technical Knowledge and Experience
  • Microsoft Windows Server and Workstation technologies.
  • Networking, including firewalls, switching, load balancing.
  • Backup and Recovery technologies.
  • Virtualization technology, VMware, Citrix.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Technologies Azure, AWS.
  • Storage technologies, SAN, NAS.
  • Microsoft O365 platform and app suite.
  • Security Technology - Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-on (SSO) - preferably Duo and Okta.
