Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk to join our team at The Del Monte Lodge. As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Greet and register guests, assign rooms, and provide information about hotel amenities and services.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk area, including handling guest mail and messages, and performing check-out services.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and provide directions and information about the local area.
  • Administrative Tasks: Post charges, compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain the cleanliness of the lobby, front entrance, and surrounding areas.
  • Safety and Security: Report any deficiencies or issues with lobby fixtures, equipment, and conditions.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: 1 to 3 months of related experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, solid organizational and time-management skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, basic computer and administrative skills.
  • Availability: Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
