Account Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Account Coordinator to support our producers and account managers in processing new business, renewing existing business, and day-to-day account services for clients. As an advocate for clients and their employees, you will build positive relationships with carriers and continuously educate yourself on industry developments.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support and customer service to clients and carriers.
Create census files for proposals and renewing business, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Process individual and group applications, ensuring compliance with agency management system data standards and data integrity.
Compose general correspondence with clients and carriers, maintaining a professional tone and style.
Interact with clients to respond to inquiries concerning service accounts, providing timely and effective solutions.
Maintain a professional relationship with clients and carrier representatives through exceptional customer service, fostering trust and loyalty.
Coordinate appropriate resources to address client management needs, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two (2) or more years related work experience, with a focus on insurance services and administration.
Encouraged to complete Career Path requirements as communicated by supervisor, including obtaining Group 1 licensing.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and carriers.
Customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills, with a focus on providing exceptional service to clients and carriers.
Problem solving and time management skills, with the ability to quickly determine and prioritize key issues.
Critical thinking and good judgement to quickly determine and prioritize key issues, with a focus on providing effective solutions to clients and carriers.
Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
Ability to prioritize work for multiple projects and deadlines, with a focus on meeting client expectations and delivering high-quality results.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on using software to efficiently manage client data and communicate with clients and carriers.
