About the Role:

Wells Fargo is committed to fostering a collaborative work environment. We are seeking a Lead Information Security Engineer with a strong focus on cloud security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough exploit testing and develop proof-of-concept analyses related to cloud security threats.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in cyber threats and the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) employed by threat actors.
  • Analyze and research malicious code to enhance our understanding of cloud-specific threats.
  • Oversee and provide guidance on the maintenance of our cloud infrastructure and environments.
  • Design, document, and implement security solutions across various domains including networking, cloud, and endpoint security.
  • Utilize industry knowledge to identify and implement best practices in information security, focusing on risk management and incident response.
  • Review and correlate security logs to identify vulnerabilities and assess risks.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive approach to security.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Security Engineering or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of experience in developing and deploying cloud-native solutions, specifically in Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience in ethical penetration testing, including both exploitation and post-exploitation phases.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in various information security disciplines such as incident response and vulnerability management.
  • Experience in malware research and analysis.
  • Familiarity with security technology product evaluation and testing.
  • Strong background in cyber security, particularly in managing and engineering solutions within a cyber range or enterprise lab.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Ruby, Golang, and .NET.
  • Knowledge of security controls and data protection measures.
