Position Details

This role offers a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Product Team to develop adaptable business solutions leveraging technology.
  • Support existing products, resolve issues, and introduce new features while adhering to Secure-SDLC principles under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Assist in refining and executing tasks alongside the Product Owner and Product Team using the Scrum agile methodology.
  • Help internal Technical Success Managers, Customer Success Managers, and Support Teams troubleshoot and implement solutions created by the Product Team.
  • Address product-related issues reported by customers.
  • Develop unit tests, automated tests, and test scenarios for quality assurance.
  • Suggest functional and technical enhancements to the CloseSimple product suite.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation as required.
  • Adhere to company coding standards and practices as outlined by the CTO.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Applied Sciences, or a related IT discipline.
  • Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with a preference for AWS microservices experience.
  • Familiarity with serverless architecture.
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience with any of the following:
    • CloudFormation, IAM, Lambdas, API Gateway, S3, Step Functions, CloudFront, DynamoDB, Cognito, CodePipeline, Athena, Glue, or similar services from Azure and GCP.
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in:
    • TypeScript/JavaScript and/or C#.
    • Creating and querying relational or NoSQL databases.
  • General understanding of information security, data encryption, and OWASP standards.
  • Able to work effectively with guidance from senior engineers.
  • Willingness to accommodate occasional night and weekend releases.

Preferred Skills

  • Interest or proficiency in creating or consuming APIs.
  • Knowledge of Certificates/TLS/Encryption and adherence to industry security standards.
  • Experience with unit testing and continuous integration/deployment practices.
  • Experience in an Agile work environment.
  • Experience in developing front-end applications, particularly Single Page Applications using React or Angular.
  • Strong self-organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
