Glocomms is collaborating with a prestigious global boutique Hedge Fund to find a seasoned Cyber Security Engineer. This role is pivotal in a newly established division dedicated to enhancing Enterprise Infrastructure Security. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and enforcing policies related to cloud security (specifically Azure), overall IT infrastructure, and Security Operations, while also implementing and managing security systems.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and establish security policies, procedures, and standards that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee vulnerability assessments and patch management processes.
- Lead incident response initiatives.
- Design and implement security architecture for networks, systems, and applications, ensuring compliance with established standards.
- Conduct regular penetration testing and maintain/upgrading network protocols, intrusion detection systems, firewalls, endpoints, and mitigation strategies for security risks.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Security Infrastructure Engineering or Architecture.
- Proficient in secure Windows/Linux environments and security-focused operating systems.
- Experience with cloud security and SaaS application posture hardening.
- Strong knowledge of firewalls, network protocols, Identity and Access Management (IAM), endpoints, penetration testing, and the overall security risk/threat landscape.
- Exceptional communication skills.
