Position Summary:
This position is designed to assist management in sales operations and inventory management, enhance the store's aesthetic appeal, cultivate customer relationships, and manage financial transactions and record-keeping responsibilities.

- Operate the cash register efficiently and assist colleagues with basic troubleshooting.
- Execute opening and closing procedures as instructed.
- Aid management in banking processes and report generation.
o Conduct banking transactions and daily deposits.
o Provide reports on inventory procurement, production, and sales as needed.
- Implement strategies to meet inventory procurement, production, and sales goals.
o Follow the product rotation process meticulously.
o Coordinate with the central warehouse for order placements for the next day's processing when necessary.
- Assist store management in maintaining the store's appearance and operational efficiency.
o Ensure compliance with display and layout plans.
o Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the store's attractiveness to customers.
- Improve the shopping experience and provide exceptional customer service. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Keep store management informed about all operational matters and communicate any incidents or issues in their absence.
- Foster understanding of policies and procedures among staff. Redirect complaints and feedback to management.
- Safeguard all assets under supervision.
o Manage property, utilities, and inventory effectively.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks as assigned by the manager or assistant manager.
The following criteria outline the essential education, experience, skills, and qualifications for this role.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Experience:
Retail experience is required, demonstrating proficiency in following and providing instructions.
Certifications:
A valid Driver's License is required, along with access to transportation for banking activities.
Skills/Abilities:
- Strong communication skills in English with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Basic computer literacy, including the operation of Point of Sale systems and other relevant software used by the organization.
- Accurate handling of cash transactions.
Provide guidance to staff as directed, particularly in the absence of managers. Report any behavioral or attitudinal concerns to management.
Physical Requirements:
This role necessitates the following physical capabilities to perform duties effectively. Reasonable accommodations can be arranged as needed.
- Regular standing, hand usage, and auditory skills.
- Frequent walking, reaching, and occasional climbing or balancing, as well as stooping, kneeling, or crouching.

May involve travel to various locations for work or training purposes.
Work Environment:
This position is based in a retail environment with moderate noise levels and potential dust exposure.
