Position Overview:

The Concessions Attendant is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of concession items to patrons. This includes the preparation and serving of beverages, ensuring that food items are presented attractively. The role involves operating a cash register and processing payments accurately. Consistent attendance in line with company policies is essential.

Compensation: This position offers an hourly wage of $15, in addition to tips.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cash register operations by taking and processing customer orders efficiently.
  • Prepare food items and beverages, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of concession operations.
  • Maintain inventory levels and communicate with the Concessions Stand Manager regarding any low stock items.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal of waste and cleaning of utensils.
  • Serve beverages, including alcoholic options, responsibly, verifying guest identification in compliance with legal age requirements.
  • Adhere to sanitation, health, and safety standards in all work areas.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A minimum of three months of experience in the food service industry is preferred.
  • Prior experience handling cash is advantageous.
  • Willingness to learn cash handling procedures and operate the cash register system.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive demeanor when interacting with colleagues, supervisors, and guests.
