Position Overview


As a Senior Kitchen Supervisor, you will oversee daily kitchen operations and adhere to a structured production schedule. You will execute all tasks to enhance guest satisfaction and maintain a quality work environment under the guidance of the Manager on Duty.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrive at work well-groomed, in a clean uniform, and consistently uphold high personal hygiene standards.
  • Monitor food and equipment inventories.
  • Utilize, maintain, and sanitize all kitchen line equipment, preparation, and storage areas.
  • Stock and rotate products on the cooking line.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of cooking stations, menu items, and preparation procedures to ensure accurate portioning, quality, cooking times, and performance standards.
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to guest preferences while adhering to company guidelines and food safety protocols.
  • Supervise food temperatures during hot and cold handling to minimize the risk of foodborne illnesses. Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations.
  • Proactively identify and address system failures to achieve maximum guest satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with the Manager on Duty and team members regarding product/service issues, equipment, safety concerns, etc.
Qualifications:
  • Basic knowledge of sanitation, safety, and customer service gained through internal training.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
  • Excellent mobility and flexibility are essential.
  • Ability to work irregular hours under high stress/pressure during peak periods.
  • Demonstrate a high level of coordination.
  • Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds for distances up to 30 feet.
  • Ability to fit through a 30" wide opening.
  • Frequent reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling are required.
  • Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold, and odors is common.
  • Constant standing and walking are necessary.
