Territory Business Manager

As a Territory Business Manager, you will be responsible for converting nationwide leads to active purchasing accounts via phone. You will provide information on key product offerings to physicians' offices, hospitals, infusion centers, pharmacies, and other healthcare facilities. Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining a solid understanding of our products, program messaging, and approved guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services.
- Execute call plans, including call preparation, lead qualification, delivery of key messages, objection handling, and closing.
- Obtain competitive information and maintain excellent call quality standards.
- Form long-standing customer relationships with new and existing clients.
- Establish and maintain open dialogue and effective communication with leadership.
- Develop business and client prospects.
- Achieve and/or exceed sales targets by the agreed-upon deadline.
- Effectively use our designated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool and other technology tools.
- Adapt to our Consultative Sales approach, aligning with our value-added service philosophy.
- Set follow-up appointments to keep customers informed of latest developments.
- Adhere to all Company policies and standard operating procedures.
- Successfully complete all required company, program, and product training.
- Attend staff meetings and client-requested conference calls.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
- Experience with territory and relationship management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Confident, proactive, flexible, and good time management skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2+ years of previous experience in inside sales.
- Previous pharmaceutical sales experience preferred but not required.
