About the Role

Indeck Energy Services, a leading developer and operator of renewable and conventional power generation, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis and Development: Identify market opportunities and development prospects for renewable energy projects in the United States.
  • Real Estate Development and Land Procurement: Assist in the development and procurement of land for renewable energy projects.
  • Project Development and Coordination: Conduct and coordinate key initial project development tasks, including market assessments, feasibility analyses, and site reconnaissance.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Establish and implement project development plans, budgets, and track and report on project development tasks.
  • Stakeholder Management: Represent Indeck Energy Services with project stakeholders, including customers, landowners, and federal, state, and local officials.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-8 years of proven experience in electric power project development, with a clear understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with early to mid-stage development.
  • Skills: Strong leadership skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to understand key business drivers.
