Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Hirose Electric USA, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business development and managing sales activities within our assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:- Exceed yearly territory sales goals and grow the number of Hirose customers, sales pipeline, and conversion dollars.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize customer satisfaction, maximize Hirose revenue and profitability, and position Hirose as a key supplier for current and future business opportunities.
- Build and expand relationships with distributors, manufacturer representatives, and key decision makers and influencers within the customer base.
- Collaborate with Hirose's customer support roles to optimize service to customers and maintain awareness of industry trends to anticipate customer needs.
- Provide input and participate in discussions to establish yearly sales goals and maintain accurate data for customer meetings, projects, and opportunities within Salesforce.
- BS/A degree in Business or Technical field required.
- 3+ years outside sales experience in the electronic component industry required.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Possess excellent communication skills (oral and written) to work with both external and internal customers and ability to clearly and concisely communicate across different cultures.
- Self-motivated & positive attitude with great energy and ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
