Role Overview

As a Westgate Resorts Off-Site Consultant (OPC), your primary responsibility will be to represent Westgate Resorts by coordinating tours for qualified potential timeshare buyers, booking accommodations, selling attraction tickets, and offering concierge services at designated locations.

In this role, you will:

Present and organize Westgate timeshare tour promotions for qualified guests at various contracted sites daily. Coordinate and reserve accommodations for guests visiting the welcome centers. Uphold a professional appearance and maintain a tidy work environment at all times. Proactively engage with as many individuals as possible. Interact with guests to guide them towards the Marketing Coordinator. Foster interest in Westgate Resorts. Transition guests smoothly to the Marketing Coordinator. Assist OPC in directing eligible guests to preview one of our resorts. Meet established performance standards, including production metrics. Guide guests to transportation pick-up points. Stand for extended periods, utilize written tools, communicate clearly, listen effectively, and lift items up to twenty-five pounds. Work in various environments, including outdoors and in inclement weather. Distribute all necessary marketing materials. Maintain current knowledge of the local area and its attractions. Provide accurate directions to guests.

Qualifications

The following requirements are indicative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for this role:

High school diploma or equivalent; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and team members. Flexible work schedule required, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Outgoing and assertive personality. Ability to stand for extended periods in both indoor and outdoor settings. Competence in handling cash and tickets accurately and securely. Enjoyment in working with tourists. Positive, self-motivated, and capable of functioning in a team environment. Excellent face-to-face customer service abilities. Capability to overcome objections effectively. Genuine passion for helping clients enhance their vacation experiences. Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Proficiency in writing simple correspondence.
