Role Overview

As a Westgate Resorts Guest Experience Coordinator (OPC - Off Property Consultant), your primary responsibility will be to promote Westgate Resorts by organizing tours for qualified potential timeshare buyers, booking room accommodations, selling attraction tickets, and delivering concierge services at designated locations.

In this role, you will:

Present and coordinate Westgate timeshare tour promotions to eligible guests at various contracted venues daily. Arrange and secure room bookings for guests visiting the welcome centers. Uphold a professional appearance and maintain a tidy work environment at all times. Proactively engage with as many individuals as possible. Interact with guests to guide them towards the Marketing Coordinator. Foster interest in Westgate Resorts. Transition guests smoothly to the Marketing Coordinator. Assist OPC in directing eligible guests to preview one of our resorts. Meet specific performance standards, including production goals. Guide guests to the transportation pick-up area. Stand for extended periods, utilize written tools, communicate clearly, listen effectively, and lift items weighing up to twenty-five pounds. Work in various environments, including outdoors and in inclement weather. Distribute all necessary materials related to the marketing process. Maintain current knowledge of the local area and surroundings. Provide accurate directions to guests.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are essential for this role:

High school diploma or equivalent; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience. Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and team members. Flexibility to work varied hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Outgoing and assertive personality. Capability to stand for long durations in both indoor and outdoor settings. Proficiency in handling cash and tickets accurately and securely. Enjoyment in working with tourists. Positive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work collaboratively in a team. Excellent face-to-face customer service skills. Ability to overcome objections effectively. Genuine passion for helping clients enhance their vacation experiences. Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
