Position Responsibilities

As a Westgate Resorts Guest Relations Specialist, your primary role will be to promote our offerings by organizing tours for potential timeshare buyers, booking accommodations, selling attraction tickets, and delivering concierge services at designated locations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Effectively presenting and arranging Westgate timeshare tours for qualified guests at various locations daily.
  • Booking accommodations for guests visiting our welcome centers.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and a tidy work environment at all times.
  • Proactively engaging with guests to direct them to the Marketing Coordinator.
  • Generating interest in Westgate Resorts.
  • Facilitating guest transitions to the Marketing Coordinator.
  • Assisting in sending eligible guests to preview our resorts.
  • Meeting performance standards, including production metrics.
  • Guiding guests to transportation pick-up points.
  • Being prepared to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Working in various weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Distributing all necessary marketing materials.
  • Keeping up-to-date knowledge of the local area and providing accurate directions.
Qualifications

The following qualifications are essential for this role:

  • A high school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Outgoing and assertive personality.
  • Capability to stand for long durations in both indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Proficiency in handling cash and tickets accurately.
  • Enjoyment in working with tourists.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and able to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Aptitude for overcoming objections and challenges.
  • Passion for helping clients enhance their vacation experiences.
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to write basic correspondence.
