Position SummaryAs a Westgate Resorts Guest Relations Specialist (Off Property Consultant), your primary responsibility will be to promote Westgate Resorts by coordinating tours for qualified potential timeshare buyers, booking accommodations, selling attraction tickets, and providing concierge services at designated locations.
Key Responsibilities- Present and coordinate Westgate timeshare tour promotions to eligible guests at various contracted venues daily.
- Book room accommodations for guests visiting the welcome centers.
- Maintain a professional appearance and ensure a tidy work environment at all times.
- Engage with as many individuals as possible to promote interest in Westgate Resorts.
- Direct guests to the Marketing Coordinator for further assistance.
- Assist in sending qualified guests to preview our resorts.
- Meet performance standards and production goals.
- Guide guests to transportation pick-up points.
- Be prepared to stand for extended periods, use written tools, communicate clearly, and lift items up to twenty-five pounds.
- Work in various environments, including outdoors and in inclement weather.
- Distribute marketing materials as needed.
- Stay informed about local attractions and provide accurate directions.
The following qualifications are necessary for this role:
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
- Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Flexible work schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Outgoing and assertive personality.
- Capability to stand for long durations in various environments.
- Accurate handling of cash and tickets.
- Enjoyment in working with tourists.
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and ability to work collaboratively.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to overcome objections and assist clients in enhancing their vacation experience.
- Proficient in reading and writing simple correspondence.
