Role ResponsibilitiesAs a Westgate Resorts Hospitality Ambassador (OPC - Off Property Consultant), your primary role will be to represent Westgate Resorts by coordinating tours for prospective timeshare buyers, booking accommodations, selling attraction tickets, and delivering concierge services at designated locations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Presenting and arranging promotional tours for qualified guests at various contracted venues daily.
- Booking accommodations for visitors at welcome centers.
- Maintaining a professional demeanor and organized workspace at all times.
- Engaging with as many individuals as possible to promote interest in Westgate Resorts.
- Facilitating guest transitions to the Marketing Coordinator.
- Assisting in directing eligible guests to preview our resorts.
- Meeting performance standards related to production and guest engagement.
- Guiding guests to transportation pick-up points.
- Standing for extended periods and performing various physical tasks.
- Distributing marketing materials effectively.
- Keeping updated knowledge of the local area to provide accurate information and directions.
The following qualifications are essential for this role:
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
- Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Outgoing personality with a proactive approach.
- Capability to stand for long durations in both indoor and outdoor settings.
- Proficient in handling cash and tickets securely.
- Enjoyment in interacting with tourists and providing excellent customer service.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively.
- Strong skills in overcoming objections and assisting clients in enhancing their vacation experiences.
- Ability to read and write simple correspondence.
