The Resident Services Associate - Receptionist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Resident Services Associate - Receptionist to join our team at Five Star Senior Living. As the first point of contact for our senior residents and visitors, you will play a vital role in enhancing their living experience by providing exceptional concierge and reception services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greeting and Welcoming: Greet and welcome residents, guests, and visitors with a warm and professional demeanor, setting the tone for a positive and supportive environment.
  • Personalized Assistance: Assist residents with a variety of requests, including transportation arrangements, dining reservations, event bookings, and other personal services, ensuring their needs are met with a high level of satisfaction.
  • Community Coordination: Coordinate with local service providers to arrange services for residents such as dry cleaning, housekeeping, and maintenance, streamlining their experience and reducing stress.
  • Information and Recommendations: Provide information and recommendations about local attractions, services, and amenities, helping residents make informed decisions and enjoy their community.
  • Communication and Administration: Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and professionally, taking messages as necessary, and manage front desk operations, ensuring the area is neat, organized, and welcoming.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain and update resident and visitor logs, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records, and handle inquiries and provide accurate information about the community, including services, events, and policies.
  • Event and Activity Coordination: Assist with the coordination and communication of resident activities and events, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all.
  • Administrative Support: Support residents with minor administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and making copies, and manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages, ensuring timely distribution to residents.
  • Supply Management: Maintain inventory of office and concierge supplies, placing orders as needed, and assist with the preparation and distribution of resident newsletters and notices.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must pass State and Company criminal background/drug screens.
  • Demonstrates effective time management skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a concierge, receptionist, or customer service role, preferably in a senior living or hospitality setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
