Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate and thoughtful responses to general employee inquiries.
  • Enhance responsiveness to employee needs.
  • Maintain and improve existing initiatives and processes.
  • Manage data integrity while maintaining organizational structure and projects in real-time.
  • Act as a client and employee-facing service representative for the Human Resources Team.
  • Handle employee life cycle changes, including promotions and demotions.
  • Serve as an additional communication and support channel.
  • Track initial Leave of Absence inquiries to determine appropriate next steps.
  • Administer and educate on Human Resources policies, programs, and practices.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including IT, Operations, HR, and Training & Education, to ensure optimal employee experience.
  • Support change management initiatives through effective communication and implementation.
  • Assist in developing training plans for HR and non-HR systems and functions.
  • Act as a primary contact for employees, addressing payroll issues, benefit inquiries, and employment verifications.
  • Conduct monthly audits of new hire data/access to ensure proper setup in company systems.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure completion of required training.
  • Manage the maintenance of personnel and medical files, E-Verify administration, background checks, and drug screening procedures.
  • Assess employee satisfaction and track trending issues through problem-solving and staff engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws to mitigate potential litigation risks.
  • Undertake special projects as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Proven experience in providing employee support or Human Resources administrative services.
  • Familiarity with support desk software, employee databases, and Microsoft 365 suite.

Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • General knowledge of Human Resources disciplines, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • General troubleshooting and multitasking abilities.
  • Results-oriented with high standards of ethics and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivate, and prioritize tasks effectively.
