Assistant Category Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Management Professional to join our team at Envision. As an Assistant Category Manager, you will play a key role in driving business growth and leading our team in developing insights and strategies to stay ahead of the competition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead category management initiatives to drive business growth and profitability in the beverage industry.
  • Develop and execute category analyses and consumer insights to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers to drive business results.
  • Partner with sales teams to engage with external retailer buying teams and identify opportunities to grow the category.

Requirements:

  • Category management or sales experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry.
  • Outstanding Excel skills and PowerPoint.
  • Strong familiarity with syndicated data, preferably IRI or Nielsen.
  • Experience with panel data, preferably Numerator, InfoScout, or Retailer Loyalty data.
  • Experience with data visualization, preferably Power BI or Tableau.
  • Solid understanding of shelf space, preferably with JDA experience creating planograms or Apollo.
  • Attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
