About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Leadership Manager to join our team at Conagra Brands. As a key member of our Category Leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving category growth and development for our portfolio of brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Category Analysis and Insights: Provide in-depth analysis and insights to the sales team to identify opportunities to enhance customer/category goals and those of the company.
  • Category Growth Planning: Customize existing corporate category initiatives and plans to propel company and category sales at the customer.
  • Collaborative Solutions: Help deliver category insights to develop collaborative solutions with internal partners and retailer contacts.
  • Category Objectives: Ensure category objectives are delivered and exceed established shelving and merchandising goals.
  • Category Insights: Provide category and shopper insights to the account in your assigned categories.
  • Category Growth Plans: Work with internal partners and retailer contacts to develop and help implement category growth plans.
  • Planograms: Propose planograms to support shelving standards across assigned categories.
  • Modular Objectives: Collaborate with the sales team in developing modular objectives and strategies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required; or Master's Degree.
  • Experience: 1-2+ years of consumer-packaged goods (CPG) related experience in sales or analytical roles. Category leadership experience preferred.
  • Data Integration: Experience with data integration and interpretation.
  • Data Analysis: Experience summarizing a holistic sales story from multiple sources of data, such as syndicated, loyalty, consumer and industry trends.
  • Industry Knowledge: An understanding of syndicated panel data fundamentals.
  • Customer Experience: Experience working directly with customers in growing category sales.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Nielsen/IRI, Retail Link; experience with space management tools helpful but not required.
  • Excel Skills: Experience in Excel to develop and maintain complex spreadsheets and automate processes.
