Job Title: Senior Advisor for Category Strategy at The Kraft Heinz Company
The Senior Advisor for Category Strategy is instrumental in shaping Category Leadership discussions alongside the Sales Leadership team. This role, characterized by expertise in narrative development, merges data and insights to deliver a thorough analysis, pinpointing category business prospects and evaluating controllables such as shelf placement, product assortment, innovation, and aisle strategy. Working in close partnership with the Customer Business Development team, the Senior Advisor facilitates the implementation of category management principles to effectively tackle business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze root causes of customer challenges and identify opportunities to drive effective solutions.
- Build strong relationships with key customer team leaders, translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Uncover category and customer business opportunities, providing concrete recommendations and supporting execution.
- Establish customer category priorities that align with both customer and organizational goals.
- Formulate customer-specific category development recommendations to bolster business initiatives.
- Leverage various data sources to create compelling narratives that inform business decisions.
- Share best practices in category management and offer guidance.
- Represent Category Leadership in strategic meetings and customer engagements.
