ROLE OVERVIEW
The Category & Shopper Insights Manager for Walmart plays a pivotal role in delivering unbiased insights that drive the growth of the Pest Control category. This position involves collaboration with various departments to provide strategic insights that support both Walmart and SC Johnson's objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze and present insights related to consumer behavior, shopper trends, and category performance to identify actionable growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to formulate strategic recommendations aimed at enhancing the Pest Control category.
  • Assist in the creation of impactful sales presentations that incorporate category insights and innovation.
  • Maintain expertise in category management tools and methodologies.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects and priorities while ensuring clear communication across teams.
  • Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving capabilities to meet business needs proactively.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Over 5 years of experience in Category Management or Shopper Insights.
  • Proficient in utilizing Category and Shopper Insights tools, including Scan Data and Panel Data analytics.
  • Experience in designing and conducting shopper surveys, as well as primary and secondary research.
  • Ability to create compelling data visualizations that effectively communicate insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Background in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or retail sectors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
