Shift Details:
12:00am - 8:00am.

Aviation Security Operations Supervisors play a crucial role in safeguarding our air transportation system.

Our supervisors are dedicated to fulfilling our mission of being the most reliable aviation security provider in the nation and are responsible for the protection of the airports under our care.


Position Overview:
Oversees and ensures adherence to all operational standards across various service lines, in compliance with TSA and airline regulations. Acts as a leader and representative of ACTS Aviation Security within designated units. Primarily engaged in areas with intricate service demands, multiple operational units, and/or a larger workforce. Upholds and promotes ACTS Aviation Security's commitment to service excellence, compliance with client specifications, and adherence to governmental regulations while prioritizing safety in the workplace.
Compensation:
$24.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage access to restricted airport areas, permitting entry only to authorized personnel.
  • Screen and document individuals and/or vehicles entering restricted zones.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections at perimeter access points to secure areas.
  • Perform inspections at entries into non-secure areas identified as vulnerable.
  • Utilize screening equipment such as x-ray machines and hand wands for employees, vendors, and visitors.
  • Oversee access control at employee checkpoints.
  • Monitor and secure exit pathways from sterile areas to public zones.
  • Provide security escorts for construction activities on runways, taxiways, and terminals.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies as they arise.
  • Assist in scheduling and assigning Security Officers to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Conduct regular audits of employee performance in accordance with ACTS standards.
  • Document and report daily, weekly, and monthly activities to management.
  • Facilitate training and documentation for newly hired personnel.
  • Implement disciplinary actions for Security Officers when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all provisions and regulations outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by ACTS Aviation Security.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable experience in contract security, military, or law enforcement.
  • Valid driver's license is necessary.

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Must successfully pass a Security Threat Assessment as mandated by the Transportation Security Administration.
  • Must clear a Criminal History Record Check as required by the Transportation Security Administration.
  • Must meet and maintain any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Aviation Security Officers.

Skills and Competencies:


Proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills for effective public interaction and report generation.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities are essential.

Ability to maintain consistent attendance to avoid unpredictable tardiness.

Capable of managing typical and crisis situations efficiently at the client site.

Physically able to stand or walk for an entire shift and lift a 25lb fire extinguisher.
