About the Role

Apto Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Business Development to join our team in Atlanta, GA. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and expanding customer and partner relationships, as well as identifying new business opportunities within our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify, qualify, and establish new business opportunities that align with customer needs and our company's goals.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Lead initiatives that create new revenue streams for the company and drive business growth.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including identifying decision-makers and setting up meetings between clients and our practice leaders.
  • Pitch Development: Work with our team to develop proposals that speak to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Pricing and RFQ/RFP Responses: Participate in pricing solutions and services, and lead responses to RFQ/RFPs.
  • Objection Handling: Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in solution selling within different industry sectors, including financial, technology, MSP, and healthcare.
  • Client Relationship Management: Experience in identifying opportunities with clients, networking, and generating leads.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills, with a proven track record of achieving sales goals and metrics.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in IT Asset Disposition, reverse logistics, or consulting.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
