Are you ready to take your career to the next level and deliver innovative technology solutions to federal clients? Insight Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven SLED Account Executive to join our team.

About the Role

As a SLED Account Executive, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with state and local government clients nationwide. You will utilize proven sales methods to prospect and identify new clients, communicate the value proposition of Insight's solutions, and develop a book of business through outbound phone sales and cold calls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and identify new clients using proven sales methods
  • Build a book of business through outbound phone sales and cold calls
  • Communicate Insight's value proposition to key decision makers within client organizations
  • Develop, maintain, and leverage strong relationships with OEM partners and distributors
  • Manage time effectively to achieve daily sales goals and metrics
  • Plan daily and weekly activities to achieve sales goals and metrics
  • Prepare quotes and bids as necessary
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience selling technical products with a proven track record in prospecting, qualifying, and closing accounts via phone
  • Strong preference for selling at least one of the following product lines: HP, Cisco, Dell, VMWare, Lenovo, Google, Red Hat, Microsoft
  • High energy, self-motivation, enthusiasm, and competitive drive to surpass goals and succeed
  • Strong negotiation, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Passion for building relationships and solving problems

The base salary range for this position is typically $45,000 with additional bonus and benefits available. However, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, including experience and location.
