Job Overview:

Key Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Process Automation projects and commissioning utilizing the DeltaV platform within a Pharmaceutical or Biotech setting.
  • Knowledge of ISA 88, GAMP, and cGAMP standards.
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) processes.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design and integrate DeltaV distributed control systems tailored for client applications and processes.
  • Actively participate in the Project Technical Team.
  • Gain familiarity with the client's DeltaV system standards for manufacturing.
  • Implement the client's DeltaV Automation Standards across various projects.
  • Leverage best practices from previous projects to enhance outcomes.
  • Draft Functional Specifications (FS) detailing the functional requirements for the DeltaV system.
  • Translate technical Functional Specifications (FS) into Detailed Designs and software configurations.
  • Create Detailed Design Specifications (DS/DDS) for DeltaV software configuration.
  • Oversee Software Development on the DeltaV platform.
  • Engage in design and code reviews with functional teams.
  • Conduct and supervise Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning and qualification activities for DeltaV software and equipment.
  • Support commissioning and qualification efforts at client sites.
  • Assist in the planning, organization, monitoring, and oversight of all phases of test automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive requirements gathering for commissioning and qualification activities.

  • Experience with SCADA, PLCs, HMI, APIs, and SQL software and systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Over 6 years of relevant DeltaV experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical sector.
