Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with assigned clients to guide them on the necessary documentation required for converting their benefit information into the Aon Plan Design Document (PDD), which serves as the foundation for custom programming for each client's enrollment application.
  • Examine client benefit offerings and Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) to ensure that eligibility criteria and plan specifics are accurately reflected in both the PDD and the client training materials.
  • Develop the Aon Plan Design Document (PDD) for each client, leveraging extensive knowledge of benefits and understanding of specific client plans; accountable for the precision and thoroughness of the PDD and communication screens for each assigned case.
  • Collaborate with internal implementation teams to facilitate a seamless enrollment experience for clients.
  • Coordinate with various insurance carriers to confirm details regarding voluntary products, ensuring all voluntary benefit offerings, commission documentation, and required setup documents are accurately managed.
  • Prepare Testing Criteria Documents for each case prior to the testing phase, ensuring distribution among the team.
  • Lead user testing initiatives for the enrollment program, tracking issues, ensuring resolutions, and organizing the entire testing process.
  • Conduct system demonstrations with clients or brokers before the enrollment commencement.
  • Design and implement training curricula, facilitating sessions with Case Managers and/or Counselors prior to the initiation of each individual case.

Qualifications for Success

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in benefits plan administration.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Proficient in Excel, with a strong understanding of creating, formatting, and evaluating formulas and templates.
  • Familiarity with MS Office products and Adobe software.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Possession of an Active Health and Life Insurance License is preferred.
  • Industry-recognized benefits designations are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint is preferred.
  • Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.

Compensation Transparency

The salary range for this position is between $50,000 and $67,000 annually. Actual compensation will depend on the candidate's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market alignment.
