Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with assigned clients to provide insights on necessary documentation for converting client benefit information into the Aon Plan Design Document (PDD), which serves as the foundation for custom programming for client enrollment applications.
  • Evaluate client benefit offerings and Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) to ensure that eligibility criteria and plan specifics are accurately reflected in both the PDD and the client training materials.
  • Develop the Aon Plan Design Document (PDD) for each client, leveraging extensive benefits expertise and a thorough understanding of the client's specific plans; primarily accountable for the precision and thoroughness of the PDD and communication interfaces for each assigned case.
  • Collaborate with internal implementation teams to facilitate a seamless enrollment experience for each client.
  • Coordinate with various insurance carriers to confirm details regarding voluntary products, ensuring all voluntary benefit offerings, commission documentation, and requested setup documents are verified.
  • Prepare Testing Criteria Documents for each case prior to the testing phase, distributing them among the team.
  • Conduct testing of the enrollment program for each case before the enrollment phase begins, leading all user testing initiatives, tracking issues, ensuring resolutions, and organizing the entire testing process.
  • Present system demonstrations to clients and brokers prior to the enrollment start date.
  • Design training materials and establish a training plan, facilitating training sessions with Case Managers and/or Counselors before the commencement of each individual case.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in benefits plan administration.
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service.
  • Proficient in Excel, with strong skills in creating, formatting, and evaluating formulas, as well as working within templates.
  • Competent in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications, in addition to Adobe products.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Possession of an Active Health and Life Insurance License is preferred.
  • Preferred industry-recognized benefits designations.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint is preferred.
  • Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent years of industry experience.

Compensation Transparency: The salary range for this position is competitive and will vary based on the candidate's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market alignment.
