Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and driven Account Manager to support our growth in the region. This role will involve reporting to the Director of Sales and is intended for candidates based in Southern Maine or Southern New Hampshire. The Account Manager will focus on enhancing sales and service delivery to current accounts, managing our representative network, and pursuing new business opportunities.
Key Competencies:
The successful candidate will exhibit the following qualities:
- A proactive and results-oriented approach to drive sales and profitability.
- Self-driven with a strong desire to enhance revenue and secure sales with both existing and prospective clients.
- Ability to engage effectively with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, and Purchasing teams within power generation and processing facilities.
- Capability to retain and expand existing accounts while identifying and pursuing new business ventures.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional value in all customer interactions, ensuring their needs are consistently met.
- Highly motivated with a focus on achieving targets and a strong sales mindset.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A college degree (associate or bachelor's) with a preference for a technical discipline.
- Previous experience in a sales capacity within the industrial, power generation, or pulp and paper sectors.
- Familiarity with valve applications relevant to the power and pulp and paper industries is advantageous.
- A proven sales track record in a similar role is highly desirable.
