Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant business acumen, market knowledge, and packaging expertise to drive profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximize sales and profitability through developing existing accounts.
  • Maximize sales through prospecting, securing, and developing new accounts.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to Packaging Consultants.
  • Develop national market and product campaigns.
  • Prospect major end users.
  • Lead Branch metrics.
  • Leverage the full value of Berlin Packaging's products and service divisions.
  • Fulfill employer and employee portions of the "Berlin Values".

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 5+ years demonstrated success in a consultative sales role with profitable growth, year over year.
  • Highly customer-focused; self-motivated with the ability to work with complex sales transactions in terms of both depth and breadth.
  • Strong business and financial acumen; demonstrates subject matter expertise of Berlin Packaging's business, products, services, customers, and suppliers.
  • Strong leadership and influence; contributes to a positive, high-performance culture.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict management skills; can influence without authority and partner across functions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, and active listening.
  • An exceptional level of motivation, desire, and competitiveness.
  • Operates with a high sense of urgency; demonstrates strong time management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow up.
  • Technologically savvy.
  • Ability to travel.

Working Environment: Office environment, with significant time spent in vehicle traveling to customer locations.
