The Territory Sales Representative is a key role at Casella Waste Systems, responsible for driving sales growth and customer satisfaction within a defined market area. This individual will develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and enhance the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to drive customer acquisitions and achieve revenue and profit goals.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to stay up-to-date on Casella products and services, and to identify new selling opportunities.
- Seek out opportunities to increase services to existing customers and develop a comprehensive account retention program.
- Recognize and resolve problems, and develop quality cross-selling solutions with key team members.
- Maintain strong relationships with drivers, operations, customers, and customer service representatives to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Utilize company pricing and profitability models to prepare and submit administrative paperwork for customer set up and account changes.
- Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to meet monthly goals and objectives.
- Participate in training and learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company, products, and services.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing, a minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, and a strong understanding of the environmental or sustainability field. The candidate must also have a valid driver's license, the ability to travel 80% of the time within a defined territory, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
